2021 was another great year for The Eriskay Whisky Galore Golf Club.

History was made...

The Eriskay Whisky Galore Golf Club is delighted to announce our first competitive hole-in-one during the Ferret Trophy competition on the 16th of May 2021 at Nairn Dunbar, Roddy MacGregor aced the 15th!

Over 20 years of competitive golf without a hole-in-one and along comes another!  Sandy Cuthbert aced the 11th at the Piper Trophy at Nairn Dunbar on the 5th of June 2021!

Eriskay Whisky Galore Golf Club entered the Northern Counties Cup  on 17/09/21 and emerged victorious against Wick.  The following day they fought gallantly but lost by 3 holes against the then tournament favourites Nairn 1.  It was Brora who emerged winners after beating Murcar1 in a tense final.

Taking the selfie is the Dark Destroyer, with Fairway Bob on his right, The Beast in the centre and the Legend himself, our illustrious captain.  Well played gents!

Eddie Morrison - the Seagull - was the clear winner of

Jimmy Christie was the runaway winner of the prestigious Green Jacket played at Nairn Dunbar Golf Course with a superb 65 on Saturday 14th August.

The Scratch prize could not be separated and for the first time it was shared by two of the club’s stalwarts, Phillip Bannerman and Robert H. Stewart with gross 77.

The Eriskay Whisky Galore Golf Club Championships were held over Maverston Golf Course on Friday 30th July and Forres Golf Course on Saturday the 31st.  Great conditions and great scoring returned with Gary "the dark destroyer" Ross emerging as the Scratch Champion with a record-breaking 65 returned in the 2nd leg at Forres.

In the handicap section Adam Crawford returned a terrific score of 64 nett, also in the 2nd round at Forres.

The Rubycom sponsored Orkney Cog was won by David Oates, the Eriskay Whisky Galore Golf Club secretary with a tremendous score of 42 points, followed closely by Graeme Stewart on 40 points.  Full results are...

The Duncan Fraser Fishmongers of Inverness sponsored stableford "The Ferret Trophy" was held on the 16th of May at the splendid Nairn Dunbar Links - glorious weather lead to some great scoring, with Adam Crawford claiming victory with a better inward half.
