Welcome to the Eriskay Golf Club website!

A Particular Welcome to Visitors!

This is a Golf Club with a difference! To appreciate just how different, you should probably start with the "History of the Club" page...... And, if after reading that you still would like to be considered for Membership, here's where to find more information.

Whisky Galore Opens & 2015 Fixture List

Just a reminder that the infamous Whisky Galore Seniors & Gents Opens - now in their umpty-umpth year - are scheduled for 20 and 22 August. Find details on entreing here.   Meanwhile, the Club continues its season with our next competition - the Orkney Cog - on Sunday 12 July, very kindly sponsored by Willie Rostock of Tain Golf Club. This competition will also be our qualifier for the Belhaven Best Pairs competition - those interested will be entered in the Cog as a pair if they  inform Willie Rusk before the competition.  The Qualifer itself will then be played at Nairn Dunbar Golf Course and from there the five best teams will go to the finals in Turkey !!!!!!

Details of our competitions booking system (for Members only) are available here.   The 2015 Fixture list is now available here.

As ever, we are greatly indebted to our Sponsors, who help the Club throughout the Season with their valuable contributions. We would ask our members, and others reading our website, to check out the pages on our Sponsors - you may well find the services they are offering are of use to you.

We should very much welcome more sponsors - sponsoring a competition will not cost a fortune - speak to Willie Rusk about how we might promote your business while you help the Club thrive.

Club Championships 2015

The date and venue has now been set for this year's Club Championships - note it in your diaries now! The dates (remember - its a two-round, strokeplay, competition, played on consecutive days) are 3 & 4 September and the venue is Alyth. The total cost of the 2 rounds is £40.

Members should make their own arrangements regarding accommodation - Willie Rusk may be able to offer suggestions if required. We are delighted that this competition will once again be sponsored by M&J Joinery (see our Sponsor's page for their details)

Fees 2015

One AGM decision I can advise is that the fees for the 2015 season have been set at the real bargain price of £90. Look at what you get for that!

- 8 rounds of competitive golf at Tain Golf Course (plus 3 more if you apply for the Orkney trip)

- Reduced fee of £10 for  the annual Whisky Galore Open and Seniors Open

- Golf Insurance (feel free to hit passers-by at will, knowing the cost may be covered...)

- SGU and North District fees paid on your behalfHowdidido

- Full handicap admin & management

By now all Members should have received their letter of invitation to renew their Membership. If you have not yet received that, please contact Willie Rusk immediately. If you have received your letter, the Club would greatly benefit from your Membership subscription being paid as soon as possible. Find out here full details of membership and how to pay.

Members' Pages - Login Password

Members can get access to additional pages if they login correctly. Use the "Login" tab at the top left of this page, choose "Member" from the dropdown menu, and enter your password - simple as that. You do of course need a password to be able to do that - send me an email and I shall email you back your password. But - don't get too excitied! The content of the Members' Pages has not yet been properly developed - some day I will get round to it, honest!
