Welcome to the Eriskay Whisky Galore Golf Club website!
Welcoming back members, old and new, to 2022 Eriskay Whisky Galore Golf Club which will be hosted again at Tain Golf Club after being at Nairn Dunbar Golf Course for 4 years.
Breaking news!!! The Jack Nicklaus Flag inter-island challenge is back after a lapse of 2 years. This commemorates one of Eriskay's stalwarts, Magnus Spence from Orkney, who was sadly taken from us before his time. It was Magnus and our Captain who originally set up the inter-island challenge in 2009. This competition was played on the 27th & 28th of May, with Eriskay proving victorius after a well fought match. Our thanks to Orkney Golf Club for their warm contribution.

In tough conditions with strong winds, the results stood at 3-3 after day 1. Saturday's conditions were a little more favourable. Tradition is the enemy of progress (the words of our Captain), day 2 was played under stableford format to allow an individual winner for the day. The final score was Eriskay Whisky Galore Golf Club 11, Orkney Golf Club 7. We look forward to our trip to Orkney next year where we hope to retain the Jack Nicklaus Flag! |

The outright winner on Saturday with 42 points was a former Eriskay member who played for Orkney in memory of Magnus - well played Noel Hill (handicap review required...). Kevin Barnett was second with 37 points, followed by Stephen Glen with 36 points.
