In the opening Eriskay Whisky Galore Golf Club Competition of 2025 it was the rank outsider 100/1 with Bet 365 David Oates (The Quiet Assassin) who emerged the winner and lifted the Bonnie Prince Charlie Targe in a photo finish with fellow Merkincher Donnie Morrison both finishing on 69.
Willie Moore finished in 3rd place with 72 ,the best scratch score of the day went to Eddie Morrison with a gross 82. In the Magic 2’s there was no winner so it rolls over to the next competition.
